Derrick K. Gibbs-McGlaston
Derrick K. Gibbs-McGlaston is a co-founder of Gibbs-McGlaston Holdings Corp., where he helps shape the group’s long-term direction, capital allocation, technology strategy, and intellectual property.
His work sits at the intersection of business, technology, engineering, and the arts. For 26 years, he worked in leadership as an arts director, developing and leading creative programs while working with artists, performers, educators, and creative professionals. His career in the arts has also included work as a musician, songwriter, actor, director, musical director, writer, and producer, including national touring work.
That experience shaped how he approaches leadership today. He learned early that building something meaningful requires more than talent or an idea. It requires developing people, managing resources, creating structure, solving problems, communicating clearly, and giving others the opportunity to do their best work.
That same philosophy now informs his work in business and technology.
Through GMX Quantum LLC, he develops applied artificial intelligence, consumer software, financial technology, and advanced engineering projects. He is the inventor of a United States patent for a multi-mode aerospace propulsion system incorporating AI-controlled mode transitions, held in his personal capacity.
His approach to technology is rooted in solving real problems. Rather than separating creative work from technical work, he treats both as forms of building: identifying a problem, developing an idea, making it tangible, testing it in the real world, and continually improving it.
His professional foundation spans business, finance, technology, engineering, and the performing arts. He holds an M.B.A. in Business Finance from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. He also completed a performing arts certificate at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Technology in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.
His long-term objective extends beyond any individual company. He is building an institution designed to endure, one that brings together enterprise, technology, art, and philanthropy, while creating opportunities for the people and generations that follow.
The goal is not simply to build successful companies. It is to build businesses, intellectual property, knowledge, relationships, and systems that become more valuable because future generations continue to develop them.

Brandon Alphonso Gibbs-McGlaston
Brandon Alphonso Gibbs-McGlaston is an entrepreneur, strategist, and brand leader who brings a rare combination of technical grounding and creative vision to Gibbs-McGlaston Holdings Corp. With a background in electrical engineering and more than a decade of experience in the energy and infrastructure industry, he built a career on complex problem-solving, project leadership, and strategic execution, skills he now applies to entrepreneurship and brand-building alike.
As Co-Founder and Vice President, Brandon works alongside the leadership team to identify opportunities, develop new ventures, and turn ideas into sustainable enterprises. He works alongside his husband and co-founder, Derrick Gibbs-McGlaston, combining analytical rigor with a distinct creative voice across the company’s ventures.
At GMX Quantum, the group’s technology subsidiary, Brandon owns the full creative and communications operation, from brand positioning and content strategy to copywriting and campaign development. He has shaped the identity behind the subsidiary’s consumer applications, diAry and FussBudget, as well as marketing for AetherCore, a patented multi-mode aerospace propulsion system held personally by Derrick Gibbs-McGlaston.
